Academic Center Oswaldo Cruz (CAOC)
It is the supreme institution of the student representation of the medicine students of Faculdade de Medicina da USP. Its main functions are the student organization, the maintenance of the basement physical space, the struggle for the students’ demands, the dealing with the Graduation and the participation in the student spaces as the Diretório Central dos Estudantes da USP and the Direção Executiva Nacional dos Estudantes de Medicina.

Scientific Department (DC)
The Scientific Department of Faculdade de Medicina aims to promote extramural activities and motivate the medicine student to take part in the scientific production. The DC organizes speeches, courses and debates which complement the students’ medical education and update the health professionals.

Scientific flag
Project idealized academics from Faculdade de Medicina da USP whose objective is to promote the medicine students’ acting in vulnerable cities, having the health as the primary focus. Therapeutic and preventive actions are established for the improvement of the health conditions in needy cities.

Medical Academic Extension (EMA)
The Medical Academic Extension develops programs and social actions through volunteering, providing services related to the health and to the community. The EMA integrates the students and the health professionals in the activities related to consultations, lab exams and educational campaigns.

MadAlegria
It is a FMUSP program which prepares the students of the health area to act as clowns in the FMUSP-HC. Its function is to use the clowns’ language as humanization resource in the attendance.

MedEnsina
Free pre-college preparatory course created by the students of Faculdade de Medicina da USP and directed to the needy population. The classes and the after-class help are offered by the undergraduate students. The students must have a minimum frequency of 75% and the selection process consists in an exam and a socioeconomic selection.

University Journey of Health (JUS)
It is an extramural project that aims the abilities improvement and the application of the knowledge acquired by the students during the work with the population from a determined city in the countryside of the State, promoting the education in health.

Medicine Jr.
Junior company of Faculdade de Medicina da USP, Escola de Enfermagem da USP (Nursing School) and Faculdade de Saúde Pública da USP (Public Health College) that organize events and activities which contribute to the education in the Health Management area.

Academic Center Arnaldo Vieira de Carvalho (CAAVC)
It is the institution of student representation that aims to defend the interests of the Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy students of Faculdade de Medicina da USP.

Academic and Athletic Association Oswaldo Cruz (AAAOC)
It is located on the FMUSP-HC and has a huge structure destined to sport and leisure, promoting the social conviviality of the FMUSP Medicine students. It has swimming pool, athletics track, gymnasium, polysport complexes, soccer field and wood.

It is a program created to improve the relationship between international students and the academic community. Its objective is that the students from Faculdade de Medicina da USP welcome and help the foreign students during the adaptation.
