On February 5th, 2021, the pre-sale for the collection "About the pandemic: experiences, times and reflections (Sobre a pandemia: experiências, tempos e reflexões)" took places, published by Hucitec publishing house and written by Professor André Mota, of the Preventive Medicine Department and Coordinator of the Historical Museum of the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP).

The title brings together researchers and intellectuals who have had their activities and specialties directly involved in or impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. The book is divided into two parts and the initial chapters bring together diverse thematic studies that present the complexity of this present time. The final chapters, on the other hand, are composed of interviews, technical notes, and other text formats that report on lived experiences.

"About the pandemic... it is an open work, aimed at a public of all generations and backgrounds. It is an essential record to understand, in the voice of its authors, the clues left by the past, the experiences lived by the present, and the expectations placed on the times to come," says Prof. André Mota.

The Professor leaves the invitation for them to read the book and adds: "what all the authors show us is that this pandemic cannot be understood as an isolated event, neither territorially nor as an individualized biological phenomenon, with a date to emerge and a possible date to disappear. There is a world to be understood.
